New Beginnings.

Listening to: In Your Atmosphere (Live) - John Mayer

Hey there!

So it's been about a year since I've put anything on this thing. Let me just start off by saying that 2008 was a good year. It had its high points and certainly had its low points, but all in all no regrets.

Now onto 2009.

My year started off back at home, then immediately after the new year arrived, I flew to San Francisco for a special show with some fellow musicians.  The event was called For Your Soul 2 and it was the most fun I've ever had at a performance by far. Thanks to Amiel (a.k.a. SummerBreeze) for inviting me to the show and also, thanks to all the other performers for being so awesome! It was truly an honor to be in the presence of such talented individuals.

Soon after FYS2, I quickly jumped on a plane to NYC to finish my album and attend some meetings! I am still in NY as I type this out. Things have been going great since I've been in the Big Apple. Music is sounding great. Meetings have gone just as well. It wasn't until last night, when my Youtube account, "djkeeno", was deleted! YUP! DELETED!

EPIC FAIL.

The reason why?
From the info I got, I was "permanently disabled" for using instrumentals that were owned by Warner Music Group. It just really sucks because it's like I never put a video on youtube. They took down EVERYTHING.

72 Videos.
29,000 Subscribers
6,500,000+ Views

That was 2 1/2 years of, basically, my life. That account got me to where I am today and now it's gone. It's like they erased me. But I gotta move on.

I have made a new account. jraquinomusic. Hopefully everyone that was subscribed to my "djkeeno" account will subscribe to this one. It'll take awhile to get back to where the old account was but it'll get there.

So yeah, in a nutshell, that was how my year started off. I'm looking forward to a really good year. I'm sure it'll be great.

(I just read this over for spelling and it's pretty emo. haha)

Here's a funny vid to lighten things up a bit.

Peace & Love,
J.R.A.

That really sucks about the YouTube channel, sorry man. But you'll be back on top soon, you entertain the socks off of a lot of people. They'll follow you wherever you go, I did. Love your voice, I'm a fan! =)

Good luck with everything though, you have an amazing voice and I seriously hope it takes you far!

hey at least its a new start for you. Don't let a youtube account deletion destroy all the hardwork you put into entertaining people, its basically like a wake up call or even better, a new chapter of your life saying "this is it, this is really it." Well i hope all goes well.

hey bro,

if you're not making any money off the songs or instrumentals, they can still take action against you -- that's almost all of youtube musicians! lol. Keep your head up man, its prob for the best.

btw, you're an inspiration
